Invited by SEBRAE (Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service) and CNA (Brazilian Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock), our CEO engaged in a high-level Buyer’s Mission to explore opportunities in one of the world’s most vital agricultural hubs.
Sapiens Global was honored to accept a formal invitation to participate in an exclusive Buyer’s Mission, strategically timed to coincide with Expointer—the largest livestock show in Latin America and a cornerstone event for the global agricultural sector. Our CEO, Mr. Helio Ciffoni, embarked on an intensive schedule to connect with the heart of Brazilian agribusiness.
This was more than a simple visit to a trade show; it was a meticulously curated immersion into the Brazilian agricultural landscape. Over the course of the mission, Sapiens Global attended 14 pre-scheduled, high-level meetings with key industry players, all organized by CNA and SEBRAE. Complementing these discussions, our team joined other international buyers for seven technical visits across five different cities in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. This provided a comprehensive, on-the-ground perspective of the region’s operations, innovations, and challenges.
Participation in this mission underscores Sapiens Global’s commitment to deepening our roots in the global agriculture sector. Brazil, an agricultural powerhouse, represents a critical market for innovation and partnership. Engaging directly with producers, cooperatives, and industry leaders at an event of Expointer’s caliber allowed us to understand the nuanced needs of Brazilian exporters and identify synergies with Sapiens Global’s expertise in the Asian market.
The trip was immensely productive, generating significant leads and fostering valuable relationships. Discussions focused on the evolving challenges faced by Brazilian producers of Olive Oil, Honey, Pecan Nuts, and Fresh Fruits & Juices in today’s dynamic global trading environment. Leveraging our role as a trading and business promotion company on the Latin America-Asia path since 2013, Sapiens Global was able to sign initial agreements with local Brazilian exporters. This paves the way to immediately begin importing high-quality agricultural products to Asia, effectively connecting suppliers and importers on both sides.
